Join us on October 7th from 10:00am until 1:00pm for the Cindy Van Dyk Memorial Walk/Run/Ride to raise funds for the Pantry of Hope at Rise Church.
With your generous support at our past fundraisers, we are able to provide food for over 75-80 families impacting 300-350 people at each of our two service days per month. With the success of the program and rising food costs, your help is needed to allow us to continue to provide this important service to our community.
You can walk, run or ride as much as you'd like to raise money for our Food Pantry.
Your donation will help us purchase food through our partnership with Gleaners. With this partnership, we are able to provide nutritious meals including fresh produce, milk, eggs, canned goods, pasta, and rice. And with our partnership with Second Helpings, we provide a hot meal that serves 4.
We are asking for a monthly pledge or a one time gift. However, a monthly pledge would help us so much more to serve our community each month.
We will have a prize drawing for a draw taking place on Tuesday October 17th at 7:00pm on Facebook Live:
One chance to win for every multiple of $25 donated
12 chances to win for each multiple of $25 monthly donated
One chance to win when you register in-person to start your walk/run/ride
NOTE: if you are already donating monthly, you will automatically be entered into the draw.
This fundraiser is in memory of Cindy Van Dyk who went home to heaven in 2016. Each year, we remember Cindy for her love for others, her servant heart, and her support of HOPE worldwide. The list of prizes include things that Cindy enjoyed:
1. Scripture: God’s fingerprints artwork (https://godsfingerprints.co)
2. Sports: A hand tied fleece Colts blanket.
3. Butterflies: Butterfly crystal bracelet
4. Studying God’s word: A coffee mug and journal.
5. Gardening: A bicycle spinning yard stake.
